Charcoal Portraits
For my charcoal portraits, I use Nitram Charcoal and the best quality acid free watercolour paper that is made to last. This technique is known for its rich, deep blacks, smooth blending, and expressive contrasts, making it a popular choice for capturing the depth and emotion of a subject.
Framing
I also offer a choice of two frames, black or oak, with a 2 inch mount. I have worked with Bespoke & Co framers in Kilkenny for several years now and they always provide a very high quality and professional service.

I am also available for oil portrait commissions. My oil portraits are painted on high quality linen. As a guide, a single head-and-shoulders portrait in oils on a 35 x 45 cm canvas start from €350.
