I’m heading back to the town where I grew up this coming Friday for the opening of our group exhibition Through Different Eyes @thenarrowspace gallery in Clonmel.

A collection of modern contemporary and traditional paintings, and sculpture. Graham Carew, Clare Caron, Niamh Curry, Kate McMeekin and Ross Stewart have different styles, work in different media and hail from different places, but with a shared belief in the importance of community and connectedness they formed an art collective in 2022.

All working to the same brief, a quote by Virginia Woolf, these five artists explore their individual interpretations of "although we see the same world, we see it through different eyes", and give us a glimpse into their links to childhood, home, memory and the world we live in.
